You started the band back in 2013. "Agusa" has been very active and released about five records so far. What´s your main goal when making new music?  We have only released four albums actually. Three studio albums and the live album Katarsis. Our main goal is to keep doing what we have done since day one; write and performed the music we love ourselves! Recently you released your latest album called "Agusa". How did the songs take shape and did you do something different this time when recording the album?  The band worked together on the songs in the rehearsal room and when we arrived in the studio they were 90 % done. We then worked out the final 10 % while recording them. The first two albums were recorded in one studio in Malmoe and mixed in Stockholm. This time we worked with a producer who both recorded and mixed the album, which was a little different. He introduced us to different ways of recording than we are used to, and the result is different. If

"Artificial Waves" from Russia makes some excellent instrumental music. We sent over some questions to them, and here´s what they had to tell us about their latest album and much more. When did you start the band "Artificial Waves"? Could you give us a brief background to the name itself aswell as why you started the band? The band name appeared spontaneously, we can not even remember if there were other options. I think in the spring of 2012 we already used this name because by the summer all material for the first album Initial Link was ready. For us, Artificial Waves is an interesting image, because it causes a lot of associations from physics to wave surfing and using of computer technologies to create music, something like an endless flow of thoughts and music formed by the waves that we have created. "Glories" is a instrumental band from USA. We sent over some questions and Dallas answered them for us. This year you released the masterpiece called "There Is No Stillness". Could you please tell us a bit about how you started the band and what your aspirations was? Glories was started in 2011 after 3 of the members' indie rock band dissolved. We had always wanted to make instrumental music and felt we had the right personnel to make it happen. The other two guys were brought into the fold, as they were longtime friends and former bandmates. We released our first EP in early 2012.  You play instrumental rock with ambient influences. How do you usually make the songs? Usually I (Dallas) start out with a demo consisting of guitar/keys/beat and use dropbox to share it with the others and then we jam on it in practice and try to flesh it out more. We record everything in practice just so we can use it to easily find the good parts of our jam s

"Baptism In August" is a relatively new band. What´s the background history? Well, the band consists of "T" and "L" from bands like "The Reclaimed", "Crazymen Band", "Panda In Trouble", "Midnightday" etc.The band is basically another sideproject to the already existing bands we play in. About two years back we started to jam mostly only bass and drums. The name reflects on John the Baptist and the coming of Jesus Christ. We are originally from Motala, yet now we have our base in both Stockholm and Motala. How would you describe the sound of "Baptism In August"? Basically instrumental songs and pieces performed mostly with bass and drums. So far we have about 7 songs connected to the project. One of the first pieces we jammed on and which we have recorded in various alternative takes is the song called "Holy Smokeland".     Foto: Linnea Brun Örebrobandet "EQV" har spelat in låtar till deras kommande skiva "Untold Stories" som kommer släppas inom en snar framtid. Vi på "ICIT Webzine" fick den stora äran att höra vad bandet hade att säga om inspelningsprocessen av den nya skivan, samt om deras fascinerande turné i Bolivia. 2018 ser ljus ut för våra kära musiker-vänner i "EQV".  Först av allt, stort tack för att ni tar er tid och svarar på frågor från "ICIT Webzine".  För dom som inte känner till bandet, kan ni ge en liten historie-bakgrund till bandets uppkomst? EQV startade 2012 av Jimmy Hillberg, Isabelle Ulfsdotter och Esbjörn Lilja. Vi var tre musiker som kom från olika bakgrund rent musikaliskt men med samma kärlek till 60- och 70-talets musik. Tillsammans började vi skapa och experimentera. Bandet gick då under namnet Esse Quam Videri. Under 2017 valde Esbjörn att lämna bandet och ungefär samtidigt kortade vi ner namnet till bara
