It´s hard to come across a band with such diverse and professional musicianship as the Swedish Gypsy-Folk-Rock band “Crash Nomada”. Fast, upbeat, slow, moody and with the roots of punk the band has reached their first album which is purely being sung in their native Swedish language. We sent over some questions to the band to see what influenced the band this time around. IEM-TAPING

Except for ordinary audience recordings made with external microphones and mostly digital recorders or DAT-recorders these days, there´s also some tapers that also focus on so-called "IEM-Taping". We got the chance to ask some questions from a "IEM-taper" located in USA. Here´s what the taper had to say about IEM-recordings. How would you describe “In Ear Monitors” (IEM) for  those who doesn´t know what it is?  Most amplified live music has an onstage monitor system for band members to hear themselves.  In traditional settings, there were wedge monitor speakers at the lip of the stage, each with a mix  specifically designed for an individual player. Guitar players often monitored their guitars by the sound  coming from their amplifier. Kebnekajse Bagarmossen 2025-12-13

KEBNEKAJSE - RECENSION - BAGARMOSSEN - 2025-12-13 Sveriges högsta berg och band, Kebnekajse, kallade musikfolket till Bagarmossens Folkets Hus denna Luciaprogg´s kväll i mörka december. Tillsammans med Wasa Express och Jan Hammarlund så förgyllde de denna trivsamma kväll.   Förväntan var stor när Kebnekajse äntrade scenen och drog igång med ”Leksands Skänklåt”. Som vanligt fanns det bitar som bandet utvecklade med denna låt även denna konsert. Hela bandet fick plats att briljera och visa varför de fortfarande är Sveriges bästa folkrockmusiker anno 2025.   Sedan blev det dags för en av Kebnekajses stora begivenheter, nämligen den klassiska ”Hårgalåten”, med sitt distinkta malande som senare fortgår med lite ylande gitarrer som nästan blir lite bluesiga, för att avslutas med härliga folkrocktoner.
